How can virtual worlds like Second Life enhance the teaching and learning experiences for students?
1. For those on a tight budget, students can come here to visit museums or even attending class in a more inspiring classroom.
2. For online students, it is a means of having the semblance of a real classroom. In an online course, one may have an orientation meeting at the most. On a side note, recommend Second Life classrooms.

What are the implications for the arts and society?
1. Second Life provides an alternative method of expressing art. It also allows input. Building a building is a great example. Build one on Second Life for a fraction of the cost of a real one to get valuable input on how to change the design.
2. This would also apply to fashion.
3. The societal implications offer a freedom to be who you want to be.
4. Second Life has been found for some as a means to make a living with an online business.
